Job summary

Great Lakes Cheese is seeking a Sanitation Worker-Housekeeping to perform basic janitorial duties in offices, restrooms, and break areas while following sanitation guidelines.

Responsibilities include cleaning, mopping, and maintaining cleanliness of assigned areas, restocking supplies, and keeping chemical rooms properly organized. This role supports GMP compliance and safety programs in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to make decisions based on standard practices.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, troubleshoot and problem solve.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Clean, mop, and vacuum all common areas daily.
• Refill paper goods, hand soaps/sanitizers as needed.
• Maintains the PPE and janitorial supply inventories.
• Ensure cleanliness of all other areas as assigned.
• Clean floors using floor scrubber.
