Job summary

Kids for the Future in Virginia Beach is seeking a Part-Time Back of House team member for the Team TASTE group. You’ll work evenings, support both front of house and guests, and ensure orders are prepared to spec with speed and accuracy.

Responsibilities include learning the menu, accommodating dietary restrictions, and collaborating with front and back of house staff. This role emphasizes reliability, mobility, and guest-focused service.

Qualifications

• Evenings availability required.
• One weekend day required.
• Able to stand and move for long periods.
• Must reach and grasp, talk and hear clearly.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Work with the front of house team and guests, providing them with the delicious food they have ordered
• Have thorough knowledge of our menu and offerings, making everything to order
• Helping with on-the-fly needs of guests and other team members, quickly adapting and providing what is needed
• Knowledgeable in dietary restrictions, food allergens and what can be done to accommodate guests who have requests
• Work with other back of house staff and front of house staff to ensure all orders are presented to the guests quickly and accurately
• Other duties as assigned
