Intermountain Electronics, Inc. is seeking a Safety Coordinator for the South Point, OH facility to administer safety programs and lead the second shift. You will develop procedures, coordinate audits, and ensure compliance with OSHA and MSHA regulations while promoting a safe work environment.

The role requires strong communication, documentation, and training skills; travel to other locations is expected. A background in industrial safety and a valid driver’s license are essential.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required; related experience acceptable.
• 5–10 years of industrial/manufacturing experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; able to use mobile devices and laptops.
• OSHA 30 certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Valid driver's license; ~30–50% travel to sites.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement companywide occupational safety programs.
• Coordinate safety audits and trainings for East facilities and second shift incidents.
• Investigate safety complaints, near misses, injuries; notify authorities as required.
• Lead safety meetings; train employees on equipment and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with CFR1910, 1926 and MSHA regulations; minimize risk.
• Accompany injured employees to medical providers; maintain thorough documentation.
