Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System, part of Trinity Health, is seeking a full-time respiratory therapist for the evening shift. You will perform general and emergency respiratory therapies, assess patient status, and contribute to resident RT training.

Licensing requirements include Oregon license, NBRC RRT, BLS, ACLS/PALS within six months of hire. Sign-on bonus and relocation stipend are offered.

Qualifications

• Oregon Board license to practice respiratory care.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with NBRC.
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification (BLS).
• ACLS certification required or within 6 months of hire.
• PALS certification required or within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide general and emergency respiratory therapy to patients of all ages.
• Assess patient condition and modify care as needed.
• Assist in bronchoscopy, ABG collection, and interpretation.
• Act as a preceptor to new and existing RT colleagues.
