Job summary

Meadow Park Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in New York is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor for the evening shift on a part-time basis. This leadership role focuses on overseeing nursing staff and ensuring high-quality resident care.

Responsibilities include clinical supervision, care plan adherence, collaboration with physicians, EMR use, documentation, and maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• New York State RN license required.
• RN Supervisor experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Current BLS, ACLS, or PALS certification required.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively lead and support a nursing team.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and supervision to nursing staff during the evening shift.
• Oversee individualized resident care per standards and care plans.
• Monitor residents' conditions and ensure meds and treatments are administered correctly.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to address needs.
• Provide direction, support, and guidance to nursing staff.
• Use sound clinical judgment in patient-care decisions.
• Ensure documentation and observations are completed accurately and timely.
• Promote resident safety, quality care, and regulatory compliance.
• Respond to changes in residents' conditions and communicate concerns.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
