Job summary

Bel-Air Manor is seeking a compassionate RN Supervisor to lead nursing operations for a 71-bed skilled nursing facility in Newington, CT. You will oversee RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, conduct rounds, and ensure high-quality resident care. The role requires a CT RN license, accreditation, and CPR/BLS per policy.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Connecticut RN license.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current CPR/BLS certification as required by facility policy.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day nursing operations on the unit under the DON oversight.
• Supervise, delegate, and coordinate care by RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
• Perform regular rounds to assess residents’ physical and emotional status; daily monitoring.
• Provide direct nursing care as needed, including starting IVs and collecting specimens.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents; coordinate with interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain accurate documentation of medical status, orders, labs, and interventions.
• Communicate with families/POAs and physicians regarding status updates.
