Bel-Air Manor in Newington, CT is seeking a compassionate RN Supervisor for part-time, per diem shifts. You will lead nursing staff on your unit, ensure high-quality resident care, and maintain standards across the facility with a collaborative team approach.

Qualifications

• Valid, unrestricted RN license in Connecticut.

• Ability to assess resident needs, coordinate care, respond to changes in condition, and make clinical judgments.
• Dependable with good attendance and ability to work collaboratively as part of a care team.

• Oversee admissions, transfers, and discharges as assigned; coordinate with appropriate departments for smooth transitions of care.
• Provide direct nursing care when necessary (medications, treatments, IVs, etc.), especially during staffing shortages or emergencies.
• Mentor and support assigned staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs), provide guidance, and act as point of contact for staff and resident/family issues.
• Ensure unit compliance with facility policies, state/federal regulations, safety and infection-control standards.
