Seagate Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor to lead the evening shift and support nursing staff in delivering high-quality resident care.

The role focuses on clinical operations, staffing oversight, and adherence to regulatory standards within a fast-paced long-term care environment. Strong leadership and NY RN licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Active NY RN license required.
• Minimum 3 years of nursing home experience.
• Strong leadership and supervisory abilities.
• Knowledge of long-term care regulations and clinical standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, professional, and team-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing leadership with daily clinical operations and ensure quality resident care.
• Supervise nursing staff and ensure compliance with policies and regulatory standards.
• Ensure appropriate staffing coverage and support shift operations (Evening Shift).
• Conduct regular rounds to evaluate resident care and staff performance.
• Monitor medication administration and treatment procedures for accuracy and compliance.
• Participate in regulatory surveys, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Support care planning, resident assessments, and discharge coordination.
• Collaborate with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Provide direct nursing care and clinical support as needed.
