Job summary

Marquis Health Consulting Services proudly supports Hampden Post Acute in Wilbraham, MA, recruiting an RN Supervisor for a 135-bed sub-acute and long-term care facility.

This full-time role runs 3 PM to 11 PM with no weekends and pays $38 to $60 per hour, all inclusive. The RN Supervisor provides clinical leadership, ensures regulatory compliance, mentors nursing staff, and promotes safe, compassionate resident care.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered active RN license in MA.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple patients in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Minimum of 2+ years of nursing experience in a healthcare setting.
• No previous supervisory experience required; training will be provided.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with staff, residents, families, and regulatory agencies.
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, regulations, and standards in nursing care centers.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing care activities to ensure residents receive safe, effective, and timely care.
• Provide clinical oversight and support to nursing staff during assigned shifts.
• Monitor resident conditions and ensure appropriate interventions are implemented and documented.
• Ensure compliance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, residents, and family members regarding changes in condition or care needs.
• Assist in managing multiple residents and prioritize care based on clinical urgency.
• Support adherence to all applicable nursing regulations, safety standards, and facility guidelines.
• Promote a positive work environment through teamwork, communication, and professional leadership.
