Job summary

Sippican Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) Evening Supervisor to oversee nursing staff on the evening shift. You will document care, manage medication orders, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to implement care plans for residents.

Responsibilities include training staff, leading department operations, reviewing daily resident assignments, and contributing to disciplinary processes as needed.

Qualifications

• RN license required
• Experience in supervision and care planning preferred
• Ability to document resident care and collaborate with interdisciplinary team

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Department Head to train staff on department policies and procedures
• Lead RN Supervisor for department staff on process, supply, and team-related needs
• Review written daily assignments for each resident on the unit
• Provide and receive nursing reports on assigned units
• Collaborate with Care Plan Coordinator to develop and maintain nursing care plans
• Assist with orientation and on-the-job training for new nursing personnel
• Participate in disciplinary processes and document concerns for nursing assistants
