Job summary

River Ridge Living Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to lead the 2:00 pm–10:00 pm shift and supervise nursing staff. The role emphasizes compassionate, high-quality care and strict adherence to health and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities include rounds on all units, resident checks, and safeguarding dignity and privacy. The RN supervisor will support residents and families and oversee LPNs and aides.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid NYS RN license.
• Knowledge of nursing care methods, emergency care, and health-safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Make rounds on all units and supervise staff.
• Check on new residents admitted to the facility and ensure comfort and safety of residents.
• Ensure resident dignity and privacy is maintained at all times.
• Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members.
• Supervise LPNs and nursing assistants.
• Attend educational workshops, conferences, and other learning opportunities to expand knowledge.
