Job summary

Premier Healthcare, under new ownership by Stellar Health Group, seeks a dedicated RN Supervisor to lead our nursing team on the 3 PM-11 PM shift. You will provide clinical leadership, supervise staff, and ensure residents receive safe, compassionate care while complying with regulations.

Responsibilities include supervising LPNs/CNAs and others, direct resident care, orders transcription, condition monitoring, admissions/discharges, and QAPI participation.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Massachusetts RN license.
• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Current CPR certification.
• Long-term care experience preferred but not required.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality resident care.

Responsibilities

• Supervise LPNs, CNAs, Medication Technicians, and Restorative Aides on the 3 PM-11 PM shift.
• Provide direct resident care, including medication administration, wound care, IVs, tube feedings, colostomy care, and suctioning.
• Transcribe and carry out physician orders.
• Monitor residents and promptly report changes in condition to physicians and families.
• Participate in resident admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Conduct regular rounds to ensure staff follow facility policies and resident needs are met.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support comprehensive resident care.
• Participate in QAPI activities.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility policies and procedures, including infection control.
• Provide staff guidance, support team development, and participation in performance evaluations.
• Promote a positive, collaborative, and supportive work environment.
