Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of nursing personnel on the assigned shift.
• Interpret and enforce nursing policies and procedures with staff, families, and visitors.
• Make rounds on nursing units to ensure quality care and communicate with families.
• Respond to emergencies and provide medical oversight.
• Verify physicians' orders and ensure accurate documentation.
• Secure pre-admission reports and ensure a safe environment for residents and staff.
• Conduct chart audits and monitor IV program.
• Assist in recruitment, selection, and orientation of nursing staff.
• Participate in meetings and assume other duties as assigned.
