Job summary

Absolut Care of Allegany is recruiting an experienced RN Shift Supervisor to oversee daily operations at our Allegany, NY facility. You will lead nursing staff, coordinate care, and ensure compassionate, high-quality patient service while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of New York.
• Experience in nursing as an RN, with a strong foundation in leadership and patient care management
• Ability to work varying shifts, including days, evenings, and nights
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor nursing staff to ensure delivery of high-quality patient care
• Coordinate patient care activities, including medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring
• Develop and implement effective care plans, tailored to individual patient needs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care transitions
• Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and monitor staff development
• Identify and address potential issues, implementing corrective measures to maintain a safe and positive work environment
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and external partners
