Job summary

Buckner Retirement Services is seeking a Registered Nurse for our on-site San Angelo, TX community. The RN will coordinate resident care, supervise staff, and ensure treatment plans are followed to uphold Buckner standards of care and hospitality.

Responsibilities include administering medications, charting under nursing supervision, and communicating with residents and families. Texas RN license and LTC experience are preferred; relocation not specified.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Must hold and maintain current Texas nursing license.
• Previous long term care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the individual health care plan is followed and administer or supervise physician-prescribed treatments.
• Administer injections, perform in-house testing, and record vital signs.
• Make rounds with residents and physicians and document visits accurately.
• Maintain health care plans on a rotation schedule and note changes in resident status.
• Supervise aides, assign duties, and monitor performance.
