Covenant Living at the Holmstad in Batavia, IL is seeking a part-time RN for evening shifts. The role provides direct resident care, assessment, and care planning within our Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing, and Memory Care settings.

The RN will ensure nursing standards are met and staff are trained to deliver compassionate, high-quality care. The ideal candidate is a graduate of an approved nursing program, holds an IL RN license, and has at least one year of nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State.
• One year nursing experience
• Devotion to standards and principles of professional nursing
• Good communication skills (written and verbal) in English
• Compassion for senior adults and the disabled

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily direction and monitor the work of the LPNs and nursing assistants on the unit, assuring a high standard of nursing care.
• Assist in the orientation of new nursing personnel and reinforce training standards to maintain a high quality of care.
• Assist in motivating LPNs and CNAs assigned to the nursing unit.
• Provide explanation of nursing procedures and assistance to staff to assure ongoing understanding and training.
• Communicate with the Director of Nursing regarding assessments, observations, and concerns.
• Observe and evaluate residents' health and communicate significant changes to appropriate staff.
