Job summary

Jersey College is seeking an adjunct Registered Nurse Instructor to join our Nursing Program. The instructor will provide clinical instruction across long-term, sub-acute, and acute sites and will support student growth through structured progress and grade reporting.

The role emphasizes maintaining clinical standards, ongoing professional development, and collaboration with faculty to ensure high-quality nursing education for RN and PN students.

Qualifications

• MSN and a valid state RN license are required.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent RN experience.
• Prior teaching experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Providing clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute sites.
• Creating a clinical environment that fosters student growth and professional development.
• Preparing student progress and grade reports.
• Maintaining accurate and timely attendance records.
• Evaluating student competency against program philosophy and objectives.
• Implementing evaluation devices to measure progress and competency.
• Attending faculty meetings.
• Maintaining qualifications through continuing education and courses.
• Perform other duties as required by leadership.
