Job summary

Jersey College is seeking a Registered Nurse Instructor to provide clinical instruction at long-term, sub-acute, and acute sites. You will guide students' professional development and prepare progress and attendance records.

Minimum qualifications include MSN and an active RN license; at least 3 years of nursing experience; teaching experience is helpful. This role supports nursing education and student success within our programs.

Qualifications

• MSN required or higher.
• Active State RN license required.
• Minimum of 3 years recent experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Prior teaching experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute clinical sites.
• Create a clinical environment that fosters students' growth and guides professional development.
• Prepare student progress reports and grade reports.
• Maintain accurate and timely attendance records.
• Evaluate student competence based on program philosophy and objectives.
• Implement evaluation devices to measure progress and competency.
• Attend faculty meetings.
• Maintain professional qualifications through continuing education and courses.
• Perform other duties as assigned by program leadership.
