Commonwealth of VA Careers is seeking a Registered Nurse for Bland Correctional Center on the evening shift. The role covers 24-hour nursing care, telemedicine, chronic care clinics, and emergency care, with flexible assignment across locations as needed.

Minimum qualifications include Virginia RN license and BLS certification; correctional nursing experience is preferred. A $7,500 sign-on bonus or up to $10,000 student loan repayment may be available for eligible new hires.

Formación

• Possess and maintain valid unrestricted Virginia RN license.
• Certified Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers with current certification.
• Experience in a correctional setting is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Provide nursing care within adult institutions using the nursing process.
• Document health records accurately and maintain confidentiality.
• Coordinate with other departments and provide coverage as needed.
