Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living's Greystone Farm at Salem is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our caring team. This full-time evening shift (2pm–10pm) offers meaningful resident care in a warm, home-like setting.

You will assess and document residents, supervise care staff, and collaborate with leadership to promote independence and safety. An active RN license and CPR, plus 1–2 years of elder care experience, are preferred.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license and CPR certification.
• Graduate of an approved RN program (per state requirements).
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience working as a nurse preferred.
• Previous experience working with the elderly in a paid or volunteer position is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Accurately assesses, communicates, and documents residents' status.
• Observes and reports any significant changes in resident health to the care team per state regulations.
• Directs and supervises the daily work assignments of the Resident Care Assistants.
• Mentors and guides Lead Resident Care Assistants in all aspects of their job.
• Coordinates care needs with community providers via case management.
• Balances service demands with supporting resident independence.
• Recognizes and reports elder abuse or exploitation per state regulations.
• Responds to emergencies and uses personal emergency systems as needed.
