Job summary

Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket, RI, part of Prime Healthcare, seeks a Clinical Coordinator RN for evenings. You will support clinical and administrative tasks on acute care units, supervise staff, and participate in onboarding and training.

The role includes mentoring bedside staff, serving as RN resource during codes, ensuring patient flow, and contributing to performance improvement activities and environment of care rounds.

Qualifications

• Must have current and valid RN license issued by the state.
• BCLS and ALS (AHA, ARC) upon hire and maintain current.
• Five (5) previous acute care hospital experience preferred.
• Bachelor Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support clinical and administrative responsibilities for the acute care units.
• Develop and implement onboarding, orientation and training plans for staff.
• Coordinate the orientation of the new hire by acting as preceptor as needed and meeting daily with the preceptor and orientee to review progress and address learning gaps.
• Oversee the clinical performance of staff, delivered on the shift and provide bedside education and assistance.
• Act as first line supervisor by directing, supervising and evaluating performance and providing feedback and conflict resolution.
• Act as RN resource during codes and provide direct patient care during volume surges or staffing needs.
• Collaborate with the house supervisor to facilitate patient flow and conduct patient rounds.
• Participate in performance improvement activities including medical record reviews and environment of care rounds.
