Job summary

People Incorporated Mental Health Services is seeking a full-time Mental Health Support Specialist to support residents at Heather Ridge in Oakdale, MN. The role involves on-site work, documentation in the EHR, and coordinating with staff to help clients meet daily goals.

The position offers a $1,000 hiring bonus for external candidates, with shift differentials for evening and night hours, and a wage of $20.50 per hour. Schedule is 40 hours weekly, Mon-Fri 3:00pm-11:30pm.

Qualifications

• Must pass screening by Federal HHS OIG to ensure not excluded from health care programs.
• Must pass Criminal Background Check.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record and insurance, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Must have physical presence onsite.
• Document interactions with clients in EHR and program records with clear communication to client and staff.
• Interact professionally and adhere to customer service standards.
• Responsible for medication administration per policy.
• Engage with clients using person-centered approaches to support goals.
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation while prioritizing safety.
• Teach Independent Living Skills related to treatment goals.
• Full-time staff participate in on-call rotation.
• Attend mandatory team meetings.
• Participate in on-call staff rotation.
