Job summary

Autism Delaware Inc. is seeking a part-time Residential Direct Support Professional to support a young woman in a Lewes-area home.

The role involves evening shifts from 3pm to 8pm, with weekend differential for some shifts, and requires transporting clients to activities in your own vehicle while ensuring safety and engagement. The candidate will document progress, assist in developing a support plan, and advocate for the person we support.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Proof of High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and Auto Insurance.
• Reliable vehicle to assist with community access.
• Favorably pass all background checks.
• Must have full range of motion, physical strength, and ability to achieve and maintain paid training and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest quality of care to individuals with autism in their private residences.
• Support a home environment that ensures the participant is safe, cared for, and engaged in their community.
• Provide transportation to social and recreational activities in your own car.
• Ensure health and wellness.
• Advocate for those we support.
• Assist in developing and implementing a support plan.
• Document progress, support provided, and activities.
