Job summary

EFFRAIM HOME CARE AGENCY LLC is seeking a reliable Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our residential team in Philadelphia, PA. The role focuses on daily support, safety, and promoting independence in a home setting.

Schedule includes Monday–Thursday evenings (4:00 PM–11:00 PM) and every other weekend (9:00 AM–9:00 PM); a valid driver’s license is required and onboarding/background checks will be completed.

Qualifications

• Experience as DSP/caregiver/HHA or direct care preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Available to work evenings and every other weekend.
• Must complete background checks and onboarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support in a residential setting
• Assist individuals with activities of daily living and personal care
• Prepare meals and assist with household tasks
• Support medication reminders and follow care plans as required
• Assist with community activities and appointments
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive home environment
• Encourage independence and participation in daily activities
• Complete required documentation and communicate concerns to supervisors
• Provide dependable coverage for scheduled shifts
