Job summary

Rumford Hospital seeks a Residential Care Specialist 1 (RCS-I) or Personal Support Specialist (PSS) to join its care team. Certification must be obtained within 120 days, and placement on the state registry within 120 days will be required for hire consideration.

A current BLS certification within 60 days, knowledge of Medical Terminology, and a minimum of six months’ experience in an acute care hospital, assisted living facility, or a physician’s office are preferred qualifications.

Qualifications

• Certification as Residential Care Specialist 1 (RCS-I) or Personal Support Specialist (PSS) within 120 days.
• Placed on the state registry within 120 days of employment.
• Current BLS certification within 60 days and maintained thereafter.
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months of experience in an acute care hospital, assisted living facility, or physician’s office.
