Job summary

Inspirations of Northbrook is seeking a Part-time Resident Care Assistant to provide compassionate physical and psychosocial care to residents, promoting dignity and individuality. The RCA reports to the shift supervisor and Wellness Director.

Key duties include assisting with activities of daily living, collaborating with the team, observing changes in residents' condition, maintaining safety, and documenting services.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Be in good physical health and able to lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provides all necessary care and services to assigned residents and assists other wellness department associates as needed.
• Maintains professional demeanor when interacting with residents and families.
• Assists with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, toileting, eating, mobility).
• Observes changes in residents' physical condition and cognitive/emotional status and reports to supervisor.
• Performs room checks, resident rounds, and contributes to safety and infection control procedures.
