Job summary

The Herrick House in Beverly, MA is seeking a dedicated Resident Care Aide for full-time evening shifts to support residents with daily living activities.

Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, dressing, mobility, meal service, and personal care, while ensuring safety and reporting changes to the Wellness Nurse. English communication skills are required, and a HHA/CNA certificate is preferred with a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Ability to assist residents in a professional and caring manner.
• English communication skills (oral and written) required.

• Certification: Home Health Aide or Certified Nurse Aide.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene needs (showering, dressing, grooming).
• Assist residents with toileting needs and/or incontinence program.
• Measures and records weights as instructed; report changes to Wellness Nurse.
• Delivers meal trays to resident apartments and transports residents to meals.
• Perform bed-making and housekeeping tasks as part of daily routine.
• Administer self-management of medication (SAMM) per policy if trained.
• Respond to emergency alarms promptly and assist during emergencies.
