Job summary

Masonicare in Mystic, CT is seeking a compassionate Resident Care Assistant to support residents with daily living activities on the evening shift. You will work under a licensed nurse, helping with bathing, mobility, meals and medication cueing to enhance independence and safety.

Ideal candidates have a Connecticut CNA certificate (CPR preferred), are fluent in English, and can communicate with residents and team with kindness while documenting care and observations accurately.

Qualifications

• CT CNA certification required; CPR certification preferred.
• Valid CT Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Provides assistance with bathing, dressing, ambulation and toileting.
• Assists with meals and nourishments; supports with dining tasks.
• Observes health changes and reports to licensed nurses as needed.
• Participates in activity programs and maintains safe environment.
