Job summary

MercyOne Northeast Iowa in Waterloo, IA is seeking an RN for acute rehabilitation care on an evening shift. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care, coordinating with LPNs and PCAs to support stroke, trauma, burns and complex recoveries.

Average stay 2–3 weeks, focus on physical and emotional recovery. The role requires an active IA RN license (BSN preferred) with strong teamwork and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Active IA RN license required to practice in Iowa.
• BSN degree preferred for this acute rehab role.
• Ability to collaborate with physicians, families and nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care of patients.
• Supervises and coordinates care provided by LPNs and PCAs.
• Facilitates communication with physicians, families and other team members.
