Job summary

Desert View Care Center in Buhl, Idaho is seeking a licensed Registered Nurse for the full-time evening shift (2pm–10pm). You will provide medication administration, patient assessment, and documentation, while ensuring safety and compliance with facility policies.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical information in English.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist in lifting patients as required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, administer, and document medications, tests, treatments, and IV lines.
• Record time spent on treatments in the medication/treatment records.
• Maintain proper storage and security of drugs per policies.
• Notify physician of treatment issues or adverse reactions promptly.
• Keep medication cart and areas neat and compliant with policy.
• Assist in orientation and training of new nursing staff.
• Enforce infection control and safety policies.
