Job summary

EOSIS in East Grand Forks, MN is seeking a part-time Recovery Specialist to support individuals in residential/detox programs, guiding them through recovery with encouragement, structure, and care during the early stages.

The role requires 21+ age, ability to drive, and strong interpersonal communication; CPR/First Aid preferred. Shift is 11:00 pm–7:30 am with a $16–$21 hourly wage and shift differential available.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Prior experience in a residential treatment setting is helpful but not required.
• CPR and first aid certification is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and drive a vehicle.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive up to three hours.
• Ability to lift and move objects weighing at least 25 pounds.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word and Excel.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Transport clients for admission and discharge.
• Provide orientation to new clients and conduct checks of personal property.
• Ensure client safety by making rounds and overnight bed checks.
• Interact with clients and participate in shift change reports.
• Assist with admissions/discharges and chart interactions in the electronic record.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
