Job summary

Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services seeks a Consumer Recovery Specialist to join the Tulsa unit. The role supports individuals in recovery by fostering goal-oriented progress and engagement in wellness groups within the TCBH nursing team.

Responsibilities include maintaining supportive relationships, monitoring progress toward treatment goals, participating in recovery and social skills groups, and coordinating additional group activities as needed.

Qualifications

• Education and experience at associate level or equivalent.
• Ability to engage with individuals in recovery and wellness activities.
• Willingness to travel and maintain a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain supportive relationships with consumers.
• Monitor recovery progress toward treatment goals.
• Participate in recovery, wellness and social skills groups.
• Develop and manage other group activities and de-escalation as needed.
