Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health Behavioral Services in Lynn, MA is seeking a Recovery Specialist for the Addiction Treatment Services program. This 32-hour evening position supports clients in early recovery, helping them set goals, follow through on plans, and engage in group and individual activities.

You will partner with supervisors and staff to monitor progress, supervise facility, conduct safety checks, and complete shift documentation in a timely, policy-driven manner.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with substance use population preferred.
• Valid MA driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists clients in reaching personal goals and tracking milestones, helping them succeed in recovery.
• Collaborates with Clinical Supervisor and colleagues to ensure client progress.
• Observes and supervises buildings and grounds.
• Searches client belongings on admission and discharge, or as directed by supervisor.
• Completes checklists, shift documentation and record keeping in a timely manner per agency policies.
