Job summary

SSM Health in Fond du Lac, WI, seeks a Radiology Technician to perform X-ray procedures for diagnostic purposes. The role involves plain films and fluoro, with evening shifts and a sign-on bonus opportunity. Completion of a Radiology Technology program and ARRT-R certification are required; BLS certification is also expected.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Radiology Technology program.
• ARRT-R Radiography certification is required.
• State BLS HealthCare Provider (AHA) certification and ARRT-R Radiography credentialing for the work location (Illinois/Missouri/Oklahoma/Wisconsin) as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures to patients and provide educational materials.
• Transport patients and assist technologists with positioning and setup.
• Assist with filing, delivering, and retrieving reports and charts; ensure image quality and PACS submission.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and minimize patient exposure.
• Assist in administering contrast media and medications within scope of practice and regulations.
• Monitor patient during procedures and report any anomalies to the team.
