Job summary
Baptist Medical Center in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Radiology Tech for full-time evenings (2:30 PM – 11:30 PM, rotating weekends). The role involves performing diagnostic radiographic procedures, maintaining image quality, and participating in OR and fluoroscopy support under physician supervision. A $7,500 sign-on bonus is offered.
Minimum education: graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program with Texas license and ARRT. Preferred: Associate degree.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Current Texas Medical Board license and ARRT certification.
- ARRT certification must be obtained within one year post graduation.
- Active Basic Life Support on hire or within 60 days.
Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality diagnostic radiographs using radiology equipment and protocols.
- Assist in OR procedures and fluoroscopy as directed.
- Maintain equipment, ensure safety and cleanliness of work area.
- Provide patient instructions and comfort during procedures.
- Document procedures and report malfunctions promptly.
