Job summary

Ascension Saint Thomas Three Rivers in Waverly, TN, Imaging | Radiology, seeks a Full-Time Radiologic Technologist for the Evening Shift to perform high-quality radiologic exams and ensure patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities include operating imaging equipment, adhering to radiation safety standards, and verifying patient history in PACS to assist clinicians. The role requires licensure credentials and appropriate education as outlined.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider certification required within 1 month (30 days) of hire date.
• One or more of the following credentials: CCI Cardiographic Tech, ARRT Radiography, or ARDMS Sonography within 90 days of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Execute high-quality radiologic exams by positioning patients and selecting precise factors to provide clear images for diagnosis.
• Follow radiation safety guidelines and monitor for changes during procedures to ensure safe imaging.
• Validate image data and patient history in the PACS system to give the medical team reliable information.
• Maintain a sterile, organized, and ready procedure area and monitor equipment performance.
