Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a Technologists Assistant II for an evening part-time role. You will support technologists, assist with patient intake, and help prepare imaging studies while maintaining clean, organized work areas.

The position runs 24 hours weekly, Monday through Friday 4:30pm-9:00pm, with an evening differential. Prior experience as a Technologist Assistant (I) is required; HS diploma or enrollment in a radiologic program is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• One year experience as a Technologists Assistant (I).
• Preferred: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: Enrollment in a Radiologic Technologist program.

Responsibilities

• Assists technologists in room setup between patients, including coil and table adjustments.
• Greets and escorts patients to the changing room and explains procedures.
• Prepares patient jackets and compiles films by date and number.
• Prepares the next patient for scanning to optimize scheduling.
• Restores and networks prior exams for next day patients.
• Stocks and cleans work and control areas, MRI rooms and prep rooms.
• Ensures imaging areas are neat, stocked and organized.
• Cleans and stocks patient prep room and restroom; handles linen and laundry.
• Organizes supply closets and radiologist reading area; assists as needed.
