Responsibilities

• Transport patients to and from the Radiology department and nursing floors in a courteous, timely, and safe manner.
• Ensure patients are safely placed in wheelchairs or on stretchers.
• Communicate with patients and family members to maintain comfort and safety.
• Log patient names in the appropriate logbook and notify Radiology staff on transfer.
• Follow hospital identification procedures and verify patient information.
• Report equipment issues and keep wheelchairs and stretchers clean for daily use.
• Follow emergency codes and adhere to department policies.
