Job summary

Montefiore Nyack Hospital is seeking a Radiology Supervisor in Nyack, NY to manage day-to-day operations of the Radiology Department, provide staff supervision and scheduling, and drive QC/QA, performance improvement, and equipment maintenance. The role requires leadership to maintain accreditation standards and support policy development.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of radiology experience with 3 in a supervisory role, strong communication skills, and an active NYS license.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of radiology; associate’s degree required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience, with 3 years in supervisory or management capacity.
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic Life Support Certification by the American Heart Association, Registered by ARRT
• Licensed with the NYS Department of Health

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day operations of the radiology department.
• Supervises staff and coordinates scheduling.
• Manages QC/QA, performance improvement, and equipment maintenance.
• Ensures ACR accreditation and reviews policies and procedures.
• Provides education to department staff and ensures compliance with budget guidelines.
