Job summary

100 LCMC Health in Louisiana is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team. You will operate x-ray equipment and produce high quality exams while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Required ARRT certification and Louisiana licensure, CPR, and 3–5 years radiology experience preferred. Evening shifts available; a $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered to eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• ARRT and CPR certification required.
• State of Louisiana Radiology Technologist license required.
• Three to five years radiology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate x-ray equipment and protocols to produce high quality exams.
• Explain procedures to patients and ease anxiety while addressing concerns.
• Recognize and respond to clinical or emergent problems that may affect exams.
• Review anatomic details and communicate findings with radiologists as needed.
• Maintain supplies and clean equipment; report safety issues promptly.
• Input and verify data in PACS/RADIANT and ensure data accuracy.
• Maintain a safe environment and ensure smooth patient throughput.
