Job summary

Generac Power Systems in Richfield, WI is seeking a Quality Technician I/II to support the parts quality process. The role ensures precision and inspection of parts moving into the facility and supports Quality Management Systems with data collection, reporting, and analysis.

Hours 2:30pm-10:30pm, Monday-Friday. Pay rate: Quality Technician I $20.60/hr plus $2.50 shift premium; Technician II $22.60/hr plus $2.50 shift premium.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Quality systems experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and use inspection tools.

Responsibilities

• Conducts process and product audits to ensure procedures and standards are followed.
• Implements resolutions from basic to moderately complex problems.
• Selects methods and techniques to reach solutions with judgement.
• Implements process improvements to enhance quality.
• Cross-trains across departments and supports business needs.
• Assists with NP I/ECN changes and related duties.
• Suggests improvements to equipment, designs, or processes to boost safety and productivity.
• Resolves problems with peers or supervisors as needed.
