Job summary

Printpack is seeking an Inspector I in Williamsburg, VA to ensure product quality through visual inspections and proper packaging. You will verify products meet customer specifications, monitor consistency, and escalate defects to the Quality Lead as needed. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior manufacturing experience a plus.
• Ability to understand technical instructions.
• Strong attention to detail is required.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and the ability to quickly identify and sort finished product.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough visual inspections of products according to customer specifications.
• Identify defects based on established quality standards.
• Monitor product consistency and conformity to requirements.
• Escalate Quality defects to Quality Lead as appropriate.
• Pack products according to specified procedures.
• Apply appropriate labels and packaging materials.
• Ensure proper product orientation and arrangement.
• Participate in safety improvement programs/projects including BBSOs and 5S events.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of work area responsibilities including work area cleaning.
