Job summary

MicroPort Orthopedics is seeking an Associate Quality Control Inspector for the 2nd shift (3:00-11:30pm, Monday-Friday) to inspect raw materials, components and finished products and ensure conformance to specifications. This role requires following formal instructions, training in inspection techniques, and precise documentation to support regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and be capable of working in a team with strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

Must follow written and oral instructions.
Team environment experience desirable.
Good communication skills required.
Proficient with basic computer tasks.
Ability to decide acceptance or rejection of goods.
Basic math skills required.

Responsibilities

Assure inspection is performed in accordance with FDA, ISO, and other applicable regulations / guidelines.
Follow written instructions with engineering-based content.
Train in mechanical inspection techniques.
Apply attention to detail for medical device product features.
Interface with peers, engineers, and Regulatory auditors.
Accurately record inspection results to ensure proper segregation of accepted and rejected products.
