Job summary

MicroPort Orthopedics, Inc. is seeking an Associate Quality Control Inspector for the 2nd shift (3:00-11:30pm, Monday–Friday) to help ensure product quality from raw materials to finished devices.

You will work with engineers and regulatory auditors, applying strict inspection criteria under FDA/ISO guidelines and maintaining accurate records of acceptance and rejection decisions. Training in mechanical inspection and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow instructions, both written and oral.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Professional communication skills.
• A working knowledge of basic computer skills.
• Ability to apply skills to ensure proper decisions for acceptance or rejection of goods.
• High school math.

Responsibilities

• Inspect raw materials, components and finished products for conformance to specs.
• Ensure inspections follow FDA, ISO and applicable guidelines.

Overall Summary

As Associate Quality Control Inspector, you will inspect raw materials, components and finished products to ensure conformance to specification.

Your duties will include:

• Assure inspection is performed in accordance with FDA, ISO, and other applicable regulations / guidelines.
• Follow written instructions with engineering-based content.
• Train in mechanical inspection techniques.
• Apply attention to detail for medical device product features.
• Interface with peers, engineers, and Regulatory auditors.
• Accurately record inspection results to ensure proper segregation of accepted and rejected products.
