Job summary

MicroPort Orthopedic in Arlington, TN is seeking an Associate Quality Control Inspector for the 2nd shift (3:00-11:30pm, Monday-Friday). You will inspect materials, components and finished devices to ensure specifications are met and adhere to FDA/ISO guidelines.

Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential for accurate documentation and inspection outcomes. You will interact with engineers and auditors, follow engineering instructions, and contribute to a compliant quality environment.

Qualifications

• Inspect raw materials, components and finished products to ensure conformance to specification.
• Follow written instructions with engineering-based content.
• Train in mechanical inspection techniques.

Responsibilities

• Ensure inspection is performed in accordance with FDA, ISO, and other applicable regulations/guidelines.
• Follow written instructions with engineering-based content.
• Train in mechanical inspection techniques.
• Apply attention to detail for medical device product features.
• Interface with peers, engineers, and Regulatory auditors.
• Record inspection results accurately to ensure proper segregation of accepted and rejected products.
