Job summary

Simpson Strong-Tie is seeking an Associate Quality Lab Technician in Gallatin, TN. The role focuses on incoming material inspections, testing, and maintaining lab records.

You will work with a team to meet daily inspection targets and support quality improvement efforts, with a Monday–Friday schedule 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM and overtime as needed. Primary duties include inspecting materials, reporting findings, and updating records.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience performing product inspections is required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials and parts to ensure vendor quality.
• Report inspection findings using software programs.
• Create, revise, or update various spreadsheets and/or electronic records used to collect information in the lab.
• Assure the reliability and consistency of production by checking processes, first piece and final output.
• Communicate and assist Engineers in resolving non-conformances.
• Contribute to various improvement projects within the plant.
