Ionbond, The Surface Engineers, is seeking a PVD/PACVD Coating Cell Operator in Chicago, IL. You will set up fixtures, load customer parts into vacuum deposition equipment, and help de-fixture after processing while balancing quality, speed, and safety.

This position offers a $600 hiring bonus, a 3:00 PM–11:30 PM schedule, and opportunities for growth within Ionbond's global coating network. A manufacturing background and mechanical/electrical aptitude are preferred.

Competenze

• 2+ years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and basic electrical understanding are required.
• Ability to read English instructions and work with 8-point font.

Mansioni

• Execute assigned processes to meet customer specifications and production targets.
• Carry out blasting, cleaning, fixturing, inspection, and assist cross-functional teams.
• Load and unload customer parts into machines carefully.
• De-fixture batches and perform basic visual inspections.
• Embrace other duties to keep production running smoothly.
