Job summary

The OBX Hilton Garden Inn is seeking a Public Area Attendant to help maintain clean public areas, assist guests, and support hotel operations. This role focuses on first impressions, detail-oriented housekeeping, and responding to guest requests to ensure satisfaction.

This is a part-time position, 3pm-11pm with weekend availability required. Compensation is $15.00 per hour plus incentives; benefits include paid vacation and a 401K plan.

Qualifications

• Must maintain cleanliness of public areas and guest contact surfaces.
• Ability to respond to guest requests with professionalism.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be reliable with a good work history.

Responsibilities

• Keep lobby areas and furniture clean and neat.
• Clean guest landings and vending rooms.
• Vacuuming, carpet cleaning, sweeping, mopping, heavy cleaning.
• Check the physical condition of the hotel and report damages.
• Clean public restrooms and replenish amenities.
• Accommodate guest special requests and answer questions.
