Job summary

Adventist HealthCare, the Manor House, is seeking an experienced Psychiatric Technician to support patient care and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team. The role emphasizes safety, clinical guidelines, and compassionate care within a faith-based organization.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, a minimum of 2 years in a related field, and an active BLS certification; CNA/GNA or Med Tech credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in related field.
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant or Geriatric Nursing Assistant Certification strongly preferred.
• Med Tech Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates patient-professional collaboration at all levels of health care.
• Monitors therapeutic treatment.
• Recognizes and values differences in the care team and creates a setting conducive to opinion-sharing.
• Collaborates with the treatment team to develop patient care protocols and procedures.
• Incorporates clinical guidelines into patient care.
