Job summary

US Conec, Ltd. is seeking a hands-on Production Technician to support manufacturing operations, drive process improvements, troubleshoot issues, and document results. The role collaborates with Production Engineering, Supervisors, Quality, and Automation teams to enhance safety, efficiency, and consistency across the plant.

Shift is Monday-Thursday 6pm-4am. The ideal candidate has an associate degree or technical certification in Manufacturing Technology and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification in Manufacturing Technology, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
• Experience in a manufacturing, production, or technical environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and technical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve issues related to manufacturing processes, equipment, tooling, and fixtures.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, work instructions, and manufacturing documentation.

Responsibilities

• Support production process improvements focused on quality, efficiency, productivity, safety, and cost reduction.
• Assist with implementation, validation, and sustainment of new or modified manufacturing processes and procedures.
• Conduct time studies and process observations to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Establish, monitor, and maintain production standards, cycle times, and process requirements.
• Identify and help implement solutions to reduce waste, downtime, defects, and rework.
